　　Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 8. Of course, my brother and I are sending our mom flowers. We always give her flowers for Mother’s Day, and we love how happy they make her. I can’t tell you what type of flowers we’re sending; wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise for our mom. But I can tell you some floral industry insider tips so you, too, can wow your mom with Mother’s Day flowers.

Surprise mom. Usually moms don’t like surprises, but they do love being surprised by flowers. Catch mom off guard by giving her flowers before Mother’s Day — on Wednesday, May 4; Thursday, May 5; or Friday, May 6. To really surprise her, send the flowers to her at work. Not only will you be the hero to her, but to her co-workers as well. Your mom can enjoy her flowers in the office and then bring them home to enjoy over the weekend.
